Visit Us
The Edible Schoolyard welcomes visitors. Enjoy our garden on weekends and after school hours, when it is open to the public. We conduct monthly tours when school is in session and occasionally open the garden to private group and press visits.
Monthly Tours
Monthly tours are typically offered during the first week of every month for individuals or groups of fewer than ten people. Two tours per month are offered in October and May. Public tours begin promptly at 9:00am, last about an hour, and include garden and kitchen class observation. There is no charge for our public tours, but we do require advance registration.

Visitor Guidelines
- Be punctual, as your visit will coordinate with class schedules.
- Register with the school office.
- Wear a nametag for the duration of your time on campus.
- Refrain from taking any photographs of students. (Photography of the kitchen and garden is allowed as long as students are not in the picture.)
- Refrain from sampling produce or food unless offered.
- Refrain from asking for food, cuttings, or seeds – due to our limited resources, we cannot provide samples to visitors.
- Respect the school environment. Our students are in class, and should not be disturbed by visitors. All questions must be addressed to ESY tour guides only.
