AmeriCorps
If you are interested in environmental education with youth and working in school gardens, AmeriCorps is a rewarding way to gain practical experience. An AmeriCorps member serves as a garden teacher and a youth mentor. He/she assists with garden maintenance, including, but not limited to, pruning, propagating plants, composting, and watering.
The Edible Schoolyard garden employs our AmeriCorps member through the Bay Area Youth Agency Consortium (BAYAC). For more information on how to apply, please contact BAYAC directly.
